John was born in Ghana, West Africa. (Hint: where Freddy Adu was born) He studied in London England and obtained an Electrical Engineering and Technology degree, at Safford University. John has coached in Apex since 2002 and is currently the head coach for the Girls ‘91 team and the Boys ‘97 team. John has held a USSF coaching and referee license for over 20 years and has been a referee at the recreational, competitive and high school levels and is currently the director of referees for Apex Soccer Club. He has been involved with Moorpark AYSO as the Chief Coach Administrator for over 10 years and continues to be involved today. John has playing experience at both the collegiate and semi professional levels and he still continues to play, when time permits, for an over 40/50 soccer adult team. John is the director and one of the instructors of the Peter Duah [brother] Soccer Camps in California. John also runs the Thousand Oaks Table Tennis Club. John is married with children and lives in Moorpark, California.
