Clark grew up in the state of Ohio participating in various youth club teams in the area. In 1998 he moved to California to attend Azusa Pacific University pursuing a degree in Communications. After taking time away from soccer to focus on school, Clark walked on to the NAIA Azusa Pacific University team as a goal keeper his senior year. He graduated in 2002 with a BA in Communication and moved out of the area to Columbus, OH and Seattle, WA working various jobs until his return to California to purse his master’s degree in 2004. Upon his return Clark joined the Coaching staff at the NCAA California Lutheran University as the goal keeping director for both the Men’s and Women’s programs under Head Coaches Nancy Moskowitz (W) and Dan Kuntz (M). Clark was in charge of all daily training activities for goal keepers in the Cal Lutheran program along with recruiting responsibilities to bring in perspective students athletes to the program.
Clark Joined Apex Soccer Club in 2006 as the director of goal keeping for all teams. He has been instrumental in creating a goal keeper training schedule for all teams and has helped 8 out of 12 teams reach the top 4 in the 2006 season.
